Presidents' Week Ski & Stay Special

Stay slopeside with lift tickets and adult lessons included with a special $99 ski and stay package during Presidents' Weekend and Week. Stays are available for two nighs over the weekend, or one to five nights midweek.

  • $5 Night Skiing ~ Everyone staying at Sunday River on a ski and stay package received a free upgrade to 12-hour lift tickets, but for everyone else 4-8 p.m. night skiing tickets will be just $5 all ages every day!

    Vanilla Mocha Spa Package ~ Includes a soothing scrub, wrap and massage all accented with the devine scent of Vanillia & Mocha. 90

  • Zipline Tours ~ Sunday River's Winter Zipline Tours feature a series of
    six lines ranging from 100 to 300 feet in length flying through the woods
    at speeds of up to 25 miles per hour, followed by 750-foot Twin Zips.
    Tours will take place at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. and costs $49 per person
    with a valid lift ticket or season pass, or $59 without. Reservations are

  • Eddy and Betty the Yeti Appearances - Keep your eyes open all week long as you may catch a glimpse of these friendly yeti's anywhere
    around the resort.
  • Twin Zips ~ Twin Zips are also available without taking the full Zipline Tour. Twin Zips are open from 12 p.m. - 4 p.m.; cost is $15 for two runs. No reservations are required; check-in at the Zipline Booth at the
    Welcome Center for availability.
  • Ice Skating at White Cap Fun Center ~ Open daily. Call

  • Tubing - Check out our tubing parks new location on the Sundance
    Trail! Cost is $10 per person. Open from 5-9 p.m nightly.

  • Après entertainment at the Foggy Goggle ~ Come to the Foggy Goggle and enjoy the Hottest Après on the Coolest Mountain. The Goggle will be have live entertainment from Chad Porter, 3-7 p.m. to kick off the weekend and vacation week.
  • Marshmallow Roast ~ Both the Jordan Grand Resort Hotel and the Grand Summit Resort Hotel would like to welcome guests to Sunday River this Friday evening with a special Campfire Marshmallow Roasting. Guests are invited to roast marshmallows over the fire. Located at the
    outdoor fire pits at both hotels, 6-8 p.m. at the Grand Summit, 7-9 p.m.
    at the Jordan Grand.

  • Boardercross and skiercross competition for skiers and riders of all ages. Come compete or come watch as today's young rippers show off their speed and agility while they race to victory on either Saturday's or Sunday's Event! They are open to all USASA members, for more information visit the USASA website.
  • Dining at the Peak ~ Fine Dining at 2,100 ft. Ride the Chondola to Sunday River's mountain-top Peak Lodge while night skiers and riders
    schuss and shred below. Upon reaching the Peak Lodge you will be
    greeted with complimentary champagne, passed hors d'oeuvres and live music. Our chefs offer a creative blend of fine cuisine and Maine ingredients you won't be able to resist. Menu. 
    • Seatings: 7 - 8:30 p.m., open until 10 p.m.

    • Cost: $65 per person.

  • Kids' Night Out, 5-8 p.m. ~ Located at the River House at South Ridge
    Base Area. Kids ages 5-12 can enjoy evening activities, pizza and a
    movie in a fun, supervised environment. Cost is $15 in advance before 4 p.m., and reservations can be made by calling (207) 824-5959. Cost at the door, or after 4 p.m. is $20.
  • Après Ski Party with the Nikki Hunt Band, 3-7 p.m. ~ Come to the Foggy Goggle for the best après music around. The Nikki Hunt Band plays all kinds of cover music. You can do West Coast Swing, Cha Cha,
    Hustle, Salsa, Swing or just shake what your mama gave you to all your
    favorite tunes from past and present. Song's from the 60's like 'House of
    Bamboo' and pop tunes by Cher, Madonna and Prince, are just a few to name off the bands playlist. No cover charge.

    England's premiere '80s Dance Party band that will help you re-live your
    favorite decade! Voted "Best Cover Band" for 8 years, according to The
    Valley Advocate's "Grand Band Slam", Orange Crush has been winning
    over the hearts of thousands of fans from all over the country.

  • Après Ski Movie Matinee - Stop by the Grand Summit Resort Hotel for an après ski movie showing in the Whittier Room, 3 p.m. We will be
    showing 'The Lion King'.

  • Ski and Snowboard Tuning Clinic - 1 hour basic professional tuning
    instruction - Simply put, waxing your skis or your board helps you ride
    the snow faster. And sharpening your edges helps you keep control.
    Now that you know why this is important, come learn how. You will learn
    how to tune, wax and get your skis prepped for ultimate ski-ability! Clinic
    includes: Edge filling and bevel education, P-Tex (filling), and wax and scrape (education on different waxes for temperatures and how to iron and scrape off wax properly. Cost: $35. Clinic is limited to 8 people, reservations are required at 207-824-5092. Located at the South Ridge
    Lodge Tune Shop, 5-6 p.m.

    The Matterhorn Ski Bar pulls out all the stops to bring Bourbon Street to Sunday River in a FAT TUESDAY, 8th Annual Extravaganza. Music by Adam Ezra Group with beads, beads and more beads! Dress in your best purple, green, and gold!

    parodies of artists such as Devo, Guns n' Roses and even Britney
    Spears. He transforms himself into different artists through a myriad of creative costumes. His musical talent, creativity, showmanship, energy, charisma and child magnetism make for a fantastic entertainment experience for any audience. Bruce is so entertaining and fun, after a long day of skiing, a bucket of beers and Bruce is all you need!

The Zipline Canopy Glow Tour features a series of six lines ranging from 100 to 300 feet in length to take you flying through the woods and over a ravine and stream bed at speeds of up to 25 miles per hour glowing like a firefly!     • Sunshine Fire Entertainment ~ 7:30 p.m. and 8:10 p.m.
      Sunshine Fire Entertainment is a duo fire act out of Western

      incorporating various elements in the art of Fire Manipulation.
      Their exhilarating show features fast-paced stunts with eye-dazzling pillars of flame, whirling torches and blazing hula-hoops as well as slow and mysterious acts such as fire eating and breathing. Whether in solo or partnered acts, Sunshine Fire Entertainment is sure to amaze spectators of all ages. This free
      outdoor performance will take place slopeside at South Ridge Lodge.

  • Balance Bar Sampling - If you're in the South Ridge area this Saturday
    make sure to stop by the Balance Bar tent, located slopeside at South
    Ridge Lodge, where Balance Bar will be providing free samples.
  • 25th Annual Joy of Skiing - The Joy of Skiing at the Sunday River Outdoor Center is a dining adventure for a good cause. Perfect for cross-country skiers and snowshoers of all levels, the Joy of Skiing offers designated dining locations along the trails with traditional food favorites, including freshly made donuts served trailside and hot Sunday River Brew Pub soup at the covered bridge, plus s'mores at the firepit and more! Each hour between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. a different dining station along the trail will open. Pre-register for $6 or pay $7 at the door. Kids 6-12 and seniors 65+ pay $4; kids 5 and under and those 80+
    participate for free, in addition to the normal trail and rental fees.
    Proceeds benefit the American Lung Association of Maine. If you have

    Come to the Foggy Goggle for the best après music around. Fast Times plays the top dance hits of the '80s, the ultimate decade of decadence. You will be thrilled and excited by our herpetologists who will give you every fact, and dispel your misconceptions, about the rainforest and the reptiles that live in them.
